“I was a one year old male marmoset known as M1662. I was taken from the National Nonhuman Primate Breeding and Research Facility (Gippsland, Australia) and housed alone in a vivarium. To study neural tracing of the retina, I was given an injection into both of my eyes. I was killed 7 days later. Please remember me and honour me with a name.”
