Progress towards a future free from animal experimentation takes time, persistence, and determination. While manychallenges remain, AFSA (formerly Humane Research Australia) has achieved significant milestones in advancing this goal.
The highlights below showcase some of our major achievements in recent years. Although they don’t capture the countless submissions, media appearances, advocacy campaigns, presentations, expos, and other work undertaken every day, they reflect the meaningful progress we’ve made—and the momentum driving us forward.

2024 Achievements
